Selected Projects
Lize Ratliff Podcasts have created engaging content that resonates with audiences across various platforms.
Mamamia Podcasts
I’ve been lucky to have been part of Mamamia’s podcasting journey from its beginning in 2014 until I went on maternity leave in 2023. Over those years, I wore many hats — Producer, Executive Producer, Managing Producer — and from 2020 to 2024, I was Head of Podcasts.
I worked on some of Mamamia’s biggest shows, like Mamamia Out Loud as the Executive Producer, and I helped launch No Filter as its first EP. I also got to create and launch a bunch of branded podcasts for some incredible partners, like The Split for Westpac, How To Build A Human for Lego, and The Delivery Room for Elevit.
In total, I helped launch 38 podcasts, led a team of 12 amazing producers, and oversaw Mamamia’s live podcast events. It was an incredible ride, and I loved every moment of helping bring stories to life and connecting with audiences.
The Wiggles
I teamed up with The Wiggles, ARN, and Mylk Media to bring Wiggle Talk to life — a podcast for parents, hosted by the Wiggles themselves. I helped shape the entire concept, from creating the segments and structuring the episodes to crafting the sound and overall feel of the show. I also produced the first 10 episodes, helping set the tone for a fun, insightful, and relatable podcast that resonated with parents and Wiggle fans alike.
The hard work paid off — Wiggle Talk hit the #1 spot on the Apple Podcasts Kids & Family charts.
Australian Birth Stories
I collaborated with Sophie Walker on a growth strategy for her award-winning podcast, Australian Birth Stories. I developed a comprehensive plan to help monetise her back catalogue and integrate more video content into her social media promotions, enhancing audience engagement and expanding revenue opportunities.
Stellar
After developing a content strategy for Stellar Magazine’s podcast, Something To Talk About, I am now the Executive Producer of the show. I edit the content, manage the social media promotion, and work closely with the editorial team to ensure each episode is released smoothly and engages the audience effectively.
Adore Beauty
I developed a comprehensive growth and content strategy for Adore Beauty’s podcast, BeautyIQ Uncensored. This involved a full content audit, restructuring episodes with fresh segments, and setting a broader creative direction to expand the show’s reach and appeal.
AFTRS
I’m a guest lecturer in the podcast department at the Australian Film Television & Radio School (AFTRS), where I specialise in branded podcasts, podcast marketing, and growth strategies. I help the next generation of podcasters understand how to create, promote, and scale successful shows in today’s dynamic audio landscape.
